Franko, Bishop of Poznan was an 11th-century Polish Bishop of Poznań. He was the first Bishop of Poznan after the renewal of the Diocese by Bolesław the bold in 1075AD.〔Władysław Abraham: the Organization of the Church in Poland until the middle of the 12th century, (Lviv, 1890), p. 83.〕 〔Wojciech Kętrzyński: Studyja on documents of the 12th century, (The annals of the Academy of learning in Lviv, 1891) p. 311.〕〔Tadeusz Wasilewski: Royal Church in the 10th-12th century and his superior Bishop, (Polish Historical Quarterly, volume 92, 1985) p. 751-752.〕 He is known from the Chronicles of the Galla Anonima, and was Bishop of Poznań, from 1070 to around 1085AD. He advised Prince Władysław Herman and his wife Judith to send gifts to the shrine in the Saint-Gilles for the birth of a male heir.
